At the center of the Coglet project is a custom board called CogNog. CogNog combines many functions that would normally require several separate boards:

• Wi-Fi connectivity
• Audio input and output
• Servo-motor control
• Realtime and/or cloud image processing
• Power Input
• Expansion for sensors and accessories

The goal is simplicity. Instead of wiring together multiple modules, builders can work from one compact, robust board designed to fit inside of Coglet or your own robot. You can program it with a USB-C cable just like any other devboard!

CogNog is fully open source, making it easy to modify, extend, and integrate into other projects.

What do I need to use this with?

The board will come pre-programmed, but if you would like to upload your own code via the USB-C port on the board you will need a good quality USBC cable which can transfer data. For the board to be fully functional, it needs to be powered through the XH 2.54mm-pitch 2-pin socket on the board at a power rating of (5V-3A).

This is a development board intended for experienced makers and engineers. It may require some technical knowledge to use effectively. By purchasing, you acknowledge the need for appropriate skills in electronics and DIY projects.
