You can choose between
- Print Yourself Kit
- Full Kit
- Assembled & Tested Mechanism
The Print Yourself Kit assume you can print the 3D printed parts (See Step 1 below) at home and allow you to assemble and includes:
- 2x Realistic Eyeballs of your chosen colour
- 6x TS90MD servos (with lower noise than MG90S)
- Eye Mechanism Controller Board β2.0 (Pre-programmed with the code for face tracking)
- Grove Vision AI Module V2 + HD Camera (Needs to be programmed with face recognition code online)
The Full Kit provides everything you need to assemble and includes:
- All 3D printed parts
- 2x Realistic Eyeballs of your chosen colour
- 6x TS90MD servos (with lower noise than MG90S)
- Eye Mechanism Controller Board β2.0 (Pre-programmed with the code for face tracking)
- Grove Vision AI Module V2 + HD Camera (Needs to be programmed with face recognition code online)
Assembly Instruction:
Step 1:
Download the Eye Mech CAD and print it out the parts. If you have bought the full kit, skip this step.
Step 2:
Follow this video to assemble the the kit. The SenseCraft AI site for programming the Grove Vision AI Module is at this link
Note that the camera cable needs to go from the lower part of the eyeball and this allows the camera to be oriented upright for better face recognition.

Also make sure that your USB power for the eye mech has a rating of 5V-3A.
Additional features: 1. If handheld controller is connected, the eye mech will be under the handheld controller's control; 2. If the Grove Vision Module is not plugged-in, the eye mech will perform random move
Note: The Eye Mechanism Controller Board β2.0 will be shipped preprogramed. The source code is in GitHub and will be continuously updated. You may re-program the code by following the "Flashing the PCB" section in this instruction.
This is part of a project intended for experienced makers and engineers. It may require some technical knowledge to use effectively. By purchasing, you acknowledge the need for appropriate skills in 3D printing and DIY projects.
